Tell us about yourself, and why you support the renewable energy movement.
I do have photos which aren't so "Mr. Establishment" but I couldn't find them :) This fact does reflect my view of environmental change, that systemic change requires using forces that already are in play. For example, internalization of external environmental costs is nonetheless a use of the free market.
How do you contribute?
Support environmentally-conscious companies, Try to reduce-reuse-recycle
Do you have tips on how to conserve and be more energy-efficient?
invest in environmental and carbon credit funds. in Dubai, it's pretty difficult to feel like one's helping the environment.

Yes, I live in Dubai, moved here in October from Beirut, where I moved in Jan 2006. I work with a private equity firm -- www.manaracapital.com -- and prior to that was with an environmental VC in Connecticut -- www.asiawestfunds.com
