Tell us about yourself, and why you support the renewable energy movement.
I live on a beautiful planet, and I hope to keep it that way. I am planning to get a smaller, more fuel efficient vehicle next February, when my truck lease expires. Beyond that, I am now shutting down my computer, rather than leaving it on sleep mode, and also turning off lights as I leave the room. In terms of the planet, I think we need to be far more conscious of our water usage as well, so I've tried to shorten my showers and run the water less when washing dishing, shaving, or brushing my teeth. Any other ideas you guys can share with me? I'm open to doing more to conserve our resources and be a responsible Inhabitant of Planet Earth. I also need to ditch all that junk mail, is GreenDimes the best way to do so?

The Green beast is doing very well...so well that I took my mother on a drive...it was very funny given that she's old school and has no concept of driving your way down vs. going up....so, i got to educate her on the whole green lifestyle and why I did it. She's thinking about selling her Honda Pilate :)
